| TS Servers | | Teamspeak 3 Servers Now Available | | 03, Jan, 2010 | Teamspeak 3 servers are now available to rent from TS Servers.
When renting a server from us there are several things to consider:
Updates
Teamspeak 3 is still in the 'beta' testing stage, and as a result updates are frequently made to the server. This involves very little downtime on our part. We reboot the servers instantly after patching, and will inform you through the client with a text message when this will happen. As a direct result of this, client software updates are just as frequent and it is your responsibility to keep the client updated. From client version 3.0.9beta all updates should be automatically made aware to you when you start the client.
Because this is still in beta, there may be issues with the server or client software which will be beyond our control.
File Transfer
The file transfer feature is disabled on all of our servers. We do not have the time to police file transfers on individual servers. Also, by doing this we can keep our subscription fees low and dedicate all of the server resources to running the Teamspeak 3 server process, thereby improving the service you receive.
Teamspeak 3 Server Support
Our server support is limited to the actual server process and the smooth running of your server. For support on how to use your Teamspeak 3 Client you should refer to the Official Teamspeak Forums. If you ask for support with Client issues you will be redirected to their forums.
There are several tutorials available on this website that should cover the most immediate of questions, these are being added to as we learn more about the features available to you.
Server Settings
No attempts are to be made to change the following settings via the server query interface:
- Maxclients
- File transfer
- Server port
- Host banner
- Host url
- Flood setting
The server logs are checked on a daily basis, any account found trying to change these settings will result in the termination of your subscription without refund.
We still try to have all servers ordered between 8am - 10:30pm set up within an hour of ordering.

We feel that the platform is not yet ready for general release. We will continue to test the server and client software, and as soon as we feel we can manage our servers in a secure manner we will be offering the service for existing and new customers.
We have made this decision to ensure that you receive the best possible voice server hosting we can provide. Unfortunately Teamspeak 3 is not quite the way forward just yet.
There are now several tutorials available on the website to give an insight into Teamspeak3 and it's features. | | | | Network | | Server Reboots | | 30, Nov, 2009 | We will be rebooting all servers at 9am on 1st December. We expect each server to be down for no longer than 2 minutes.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. | | | | TS Servers | | Teamspeak3 Servers | | 30, Nov, 2009 | We have been accepted as an ATHP for Teamspeak3 servers, and we will be renting Teamspeak3 servers to our customers from the 19th December 2009.
All existing customers will be offered a chance to switch to Teamspeak3 at no extra charge. Our pricing will remain at our low Monthly, Quarterly, Bi-Quarterly, and Annual subscription tariffs.
Extra services included with Teamspeak3 servers are FTP file storage and data transfer, although structure and pricing has yet to be confirmed.
